Man killed after crashing motorcycle into wild boar


TAMPIN: A 20-year-old drone operator was killed when he was believed to have crashed his motorcycle into a wild boar here.

Acting Tampin OCPD Deputy Supt Amiruddien Sariman said the victim was heading to work in Gemencheh from his home in Felda Bukit Rokan when the crash happened at KM7.3 Kg Rokan around 7.30am on Saturday (Jan 20).

"It is believed that he crashed into a wild boar which had dashed across the road.

"He died on the spot due to serious head injuries," he said in a statement.

A dead wild boar was also found near the scene of the accident.

DSP Amiruddien urged eyewitnesses to call the district police station at 06-441 2502 or 06-443 1999 to assist in investigations.

The case is being probed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
