KUALA LUMPUR: An investigation paper has been opened into allegations that Perikatan Nasional tried to bribe the King in a bid to overthrow the government.
“Police have opened an investigation paper under Section 500 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 into allegations of Perikatan’s attempted bribery of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain in a statement.
