More Labuan ferry trips to meet surge in demand

LABUAN: To meet the unexpected surge in demand for the Labuan-Menumbok-Labuan roll-on roll-off (ro-ro) ferry service, a ticketing management company overseeing the route has announced two extra daily trips.

Labuan Point Enterprise manager Robert Ling said the existing schedule consists of seven trips, and in light of the increased demand, the daily trips will be increased to nine via the Kimanis 1, Putrajaya 1, Joy Star and Goodwill Star ferries.
