Visitors make a beeline up Penang Hill despite rain

GEORGE TOWN: Despite the rain, Penang Hill was one of the top destinations for visitors to spend their Christmas weekend with more than 7,500 people going up to the hill.

Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) general manager Datuk Cheok Lay Leng said on normal weekends, the number of visitors was usually between 4,000 and 6,000.
