TNB, JKR told to address power disruption at BSI CIQ promptly

JOHOR BAHRU: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) and the Public Works Department (JKR) have been instructed to promptly address the power disruption involving the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex.

In a brief post on Facebook today, Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi also uploaded a picture of a BSI customer’s enquiry about the matter.

"What’s happening is causing great inconvenience to the customers and embarrassing the state,” he said.

Also uploaded was the notice of temporary power disruption from TNB, alerting the customers of the disruption expected between 8 pm yesterday and 4 am today.

Apart from the BSI, the power disruption also affected Gerbang Utama main distribution substation (PPU), Customs and Immigration Complex, and JB Sentral. - Bernama
