‘No element of malicious intent’

DATUK Ahmad Marzuk Shaary (PN-Pengkalan Chepa) had no malicious intent in making his remarks against a DAP MP on his interpretation of the Quran, says Deputy Speaker Datuk Ramli Mohd Nor.

He added that after checking video recordings of Tuesday’s Dewan Rakyat proceedings, he said Howard Lee (PH-Ipoh Timur) could not point out which phrase uttered by Ahmad Marzuk could be construed as malicious in his speech.
