Bus driver killed, three hurt after vehicle crashes into tree near Klang hospital


KLANG: An express bus driver was killed while several passengers were injured after the vehicle crashed into a tree early Sunday (Oct 15).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the accident occurred near Columbia Asia Hospital here.

There were six people in the bus, including the driver and his co-driver.

It is believed that the 49-year-old driver had been flung out of his vehicle following the crash.

Two victims sustained light injuries while another broke his right foot.

"Two victims were brought to the hospital while another two were sent to the Klang Sentral bus terminal. Another victim was brought home by an acquaintance," he said when contacted.
