THE government must find an alternative to ensure stability in the nation’s rice industry and avoid being dependent on the Bernas concession agreement, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) said.
By taking a different approach, the PAC said Putrajaya can create an open market for the rice industry, which would provide a level playing field for all market players.
