Anti-smoking bill postponed but still on track, says Health Ministry official


KUALA LUMPUR: The second reading of the Smoking Product Control Bill for Public Health Bill 2023 in the Dewan Rakyat is still on track, says a Health Ministry official.

Although the Health Ministry had yet to get a date from Parliament, the officer said the ministry was still set to table the bill within the current meeting of the Dewan Rakyat, which started on Oct 9 and would end on Nov 30.
