ACTRESS Fasha Sandha (pic) claimed that she experienced mysterious disturbances while filming a horror movie at a homestay in Kuala Kangsar in 2018, Utusan Malaysia reported.

Fasha claimed that she was not the only one to have heard walls being scratched while the crew stayed at the rural homestay.

“I would not say it was actually mystical but there was a time when the scratching got louder after a while.

“We did not think of it much as we thought ‘it’ just wanted to pass.

“We did hear other weird noises, but at such an isolated place, we expected such weird happenings,” she said.

Although the payment was not much, she accepted the offer to act in the film, Cerana Biduk Bu Merah, directed by Haizul Anafer.

“In accepting offers, there are considerations and it’s not all about money. Some films have a limited budget. I love acting and I wanted to learn further while filming,” said Fasha.

The movie, which will begin screening on Thursday, is about an old woman, who was treated as an outcast by villagers.

> A crowd-funding of RM15,000 to treat popular 1980s singer Ibnor Riza, who has stage four lymphoma, is not sufficient, Berita Harian reported.

Celebrity Datuk Aznil Nawawi said the funds were coming in slowly, but much more was needed as Ibnor would have to undergo costly treatments.

On Oct 1, Aznil started crowd-funding for Ibnor by sharing a video on his social media.

He said although Ibnor still gets invited to sing at shows, his current situation does not allow him to be active.

It was reported that Ibnor only had six more months to live, according to doctors, and needed RM30,000 for two chemotherapy sessions at a private hospital.

If his health did not improve, he would need three more sessions costing about RM200,000.

Ibnor, a father of nine children between the ages of 13 and 32, has other illnesses, which aggravated his health.
