PETALING JAYA: A joint letter calling for the suspension of Putrajaya Member of Parliament Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin for his allegedly rude behaviour in Parliament recently will be delivered to Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.
Political secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin told a news portal that the letter, signed by the political secretaries of all ministers, will be submitted to the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) by Oct 6.
The letter will be submitted three days before the Dewan Rakyat meets on Oct 9.

Shamsul said the call for suspension of the Putrajaya MP and former education minister was made after Radzi attacked Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the winding-up of the 12th Malaysia Plan mid-term review in the Dewan Rakyat on Sept 19.
“You can criticise and have different views but do not insult,” he was quoted as saying.
Radzi was ejected by Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul after he refused to sit down during a heated exchange in the august House, demanding that Anwar apologise over his remarks towards Perikatan Nasional.
The incident started when Anwar, the Tambun MP, was providing an explanation on the outcome of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's graft case.
