Chinese boy speaking fluent Tamil a big hit

MALAYSIAN Indian netizens are smitten by a young Chinese boy in Kuala Lumpur who speaks fluent Tamil, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Videos of the boy identified as Kai Kai was uploaded by a neighbour identified as Karthik Suresh.

Karthik said in the video that his mother has looked after the boy since he was an infant.

The boy became part of the family and picked up the language easily, he said.

Kai Kai’s fluency with the language received thousands of favourable messages online.

Karthik said languages transcend differences and bring different people together, especially in a multicultural country like Malaysia.

Another preschooler named Nik Yusoff is also a big hit in the Indian community with his command of the Tamil language.

The boy’s ability to speak and write Tamil well has impressed the community.
