Cops nab man trying to smuggle beer from Labuan

KOTA KINABALU: A man was caught trying to smuggle contraband alcohol worth over RM100,000 from Labuan in his car on Tuesday (July 25).

After a tip-off, marine police personnel stopped the 45-year-old local suspect who was travelling in a car laden with various types of beer with unpaid taxes at about 8.30pm.
