GEORGE TOWN: Hundreds of people in flood-hit areas here were busy washing and drying their belongings following the heavy downpour over the weekend.

Cafe owner Saiful Abdul Shookor was among residents in the Jalan P. Ramlee neighbourhood putting out their shoes, carpets and electrical appliances to dry under the sun yesterday.
