No surcharge for households


KOTA KINABALU: The Federal Government’s move to rationalise the surcharge on electricity use in Sabah and Labuan will help relieve the burden on consumers, say industry players here.

A power supply provider for an industrial park here lauded the government’s recent announcement to rationalise the Imbalance Cost Pass-Through (ICPT) surcharge for electricity consumers in Sabah and Labuan for the period of July 1 until Dec 31 this year.
