PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong was able to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha on Saturday (July 1) together with residents of Kampung Parit Haji Dahlan, also called PHD, located in Yong Peng.

The Ayer Hitam MP said he was able to enjoy the delicious cooking of the residents who are mostly made up of Banjar people, a group who originated from the Banjar region of southeastern Kalimantan, Indonesia.

"I was able to pay a visit to Kampung Banjar today together with YB Ah Soon and we enjoyed a delicious plate of scented rice, beef rendang and chicken curry together with a unique acar Banjar," he said in an Instagram post on Saturday (July 1).

"The acar is uniquely served during communal cleaning activities and Hari Raya Aidiladha," he added.
