Output of several vegetables and fruits misses 100% SSR in 2021


PUTRAJAYA: Vegetables and fruits such as chili, ginger, cabbage, mango and coconut did not reach 100% self-sufficiency ratio (SSR) for the year 2021, said Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu (pic).

Among the vegetables and fruits that have not reached 100 per cent SSR for that year were chili (29.3%), ginger (14.6%), cabbage (40.3%), mango (16.2%) and coconut (69.6%), he said.
