IPOH: The Kaamatan Festival, a major traditional festival celebrated in a big way by the Kadazan-Dusun Murut Rungus (KDMR) community in Sabah, was held here for the first time.
Some 100 people from Sabah living in Perak as well as the locals attended the festival, which was officiated by the Prime Minister’s Department’s Sabah and Sarawak Affairs division secretary Datuk Toisin Gantor yesterday.
