Defence Ministry to conduct internal probe into soldier’s death in Belum forest

LUMUT: The Defence Ministry (Mindef) will conduct a detailed internal investigation into the death of a soldier while on duty at the Belum Forest Reserve, near Gerik.

Its Deputy Minister, Adly Zahari, said that the ministry will inform the public of the results of the investigation into the death of Kpl Mohammad Nasri Mohd Nasib, 33, from the 25th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment at Seri Bentong Camp, Pahang.
