JOHOR BARU: It has been a fascinating journey for Deputy Supt Mail Yussof, a police force veteran who developed the SemakMule app that has had almost 20 million searches.

He recalled spending sleepless nights on it as he wanted to get it right so that people would have a tool to verify online scams.
