Apples and trees in Umno

New faces: Nurulhidayah (left) has won a seat in the Umno Wanita exco elections while Nooryana has been elected as one of the exco members of the Puteri movement.

KUALA LUMPUR: The children of prominent Umno figures and leaders are stepping out from under their parents’ shadows and venturing into the world of politics themselves.

Among them are the offspring of the party’s president, former president, supreme council members and division heads.
