CHINESE model-influencer Zhang Yingying has split with businessman Wang Xiaofei just a day after uploading a video of herself crying, Sin Chew Daily reported.
The 26-year-old, whom Wang’s mother referred to as a “parasite”, revealed that they parted ways several times before but decided to call it quits for good this time.
“Thank you for overwhelming me with your cowardly love. Listen to your mother’s advice.
“(I) have loved and (I) have hated. Right now, I don’t even feel hatred any more. All of these are fated,” she wrote on Weibo.
It was earlier reported that Yingying was believed to be the reason behind Wang’s divorce with Barbie Hsu after 10 years of marriage.
They admitted to their relationship in November 2021 but it appears to have been short-lived.
Wang’s mother Zhang Lan was against the relationship, calling Yingying an “opportunistic woman”.
> A 22-year-old man became a popular attraction at a morning market in Kuala Lumpur for writing and selling beautiful Chinese New Year couplets, China Press reported.
Every day between 6am and noon, a crowd would gather around Zheng Yun Feng’s stall at the Taman OUG market to observe his Chinese calligraphy skills.
Zheng said he started learning calligraphy when he was 12 and had been selling couplets at the market every Chinese New Year since 2016.
The film studies student said his father helped him set up the stall as he enjoyed watching him write calligraphy.
Zheng said he became more motivated after receiving positive feedback.
To give back to the residents of Taman OUG who have supported him, he will be writing and giving out free couplets between 8am and 10am on Chinese New Year’s eve.
> China Press also reported that Hong Kong actress Linda Chung is a friendly person despite multiple reports of her snobbish behaviour.
A fan recently spotted the 38-year-old actress in Vancouver, Canada, together with her husband and three children.
During the chance meeting, Chung reportedly smiled and said hello to her before turning to look after her children.
Even though she did not get a photo opportunity, the fan posted her experience online along with a picture of Chung pushing a pram.
Her post garnered many comments from Canadian fans, many of whom wrote that they have had positive experiences when bumping into Chung when she was sending her kids to school or at a mall.
Chung married chiropractor Jeremy Leung in 2015.
She started her film career after winning the Miss Chinese International pageant in 2005.
In 2021, she won the favourite TVB actress in the TVB Star Awards (Malaysia category) for her performance in the TV show Kids’ Lives Matter.
