PETALING JAYA: Banning the volleyball coach who slapped his players sends a strong signal that abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances, say education groups.
Malacca Action Group For Parents in Education (Magpie) chairman Mak Chee Kin said the stern action by both the Youth and Sports Ministry as well as the Education Ministry in this case was most welcome to send a strong message to others to prevent a recurrence.
