Covid-19 Watch: 571 new cases bring total to 5,029,908

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 571 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (Jan 7), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 567 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 4 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,029,908 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 4 death was recorded on Saturday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,874.
