Two hurt in road mishap

KOTA KINABALU: Two immigration personnel sustained injuries after the van they were travelling in skidded off the road and landed in a drain in Kunak.

Their three other colleagues escaped unhurt.

It was learned that the five immigration personnel were out on duty in the area when the accident occurred at KM38 of the Kunak-Lahad Datu road in Sabah’s east coast Kunak district at about 11.45am yesterday.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, the injured personnel were sent to Hospital Kunak.
