Manufacturing firm fined RM245,000 for hiring illegals


SEREMBAN: A manufacturing company in Nilai near here has been fined RM245,000 by the Sessions Court for allowing 49 illegals to enter and remain in its premises.

The Immigration Department in a statement said a company director pleaded guilty after the charges were read to him before judge Diana Md Razali.
