Sabah Star quits PN coalition

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah STAR has left Perikatan Nasional as of yesterday.

This comes after several days of hints that the party would leave the coalition.

Party president Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said their membership in Perikatan was no longer relevant due to disagreements about forming a unity government at the federal level.

Jeffrey, however, could not be contacted to elaborate on this latest decision to quit Perikatan.
