PAS criticises appointment of those facing charges

PETALING JAYA: The Cabinet line-up is “regressive”, says PAS vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.

He said the people were disappointed that those facing court cases had been appointed to “high positions” in the government.

Malaysians, he said, want political and administration reform and thus need a good government.

“But looking at the Cabinet’s composition, it looks like we have regressed,” Ahmad Samsuri claimed.

He also said that the current government is definitely not a “unity government” but rather an administration led by Pakatan Harapan.
