Covid-19 Watch: 1,866 new cases bring total to 4,998,830

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,866 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday (Dec 3), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 1,860 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 6 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,998,830 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 6 deaths were recorded on Saturday with 1 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,710.
