Two bikers killed in head-on crash

SEREMBAN: Two motorcyclists died after colliding at Kampung Belangkan near Rantau.

District police chief Asst Comm Nanda Maarof said the male victims, aged 23 and 26, were killed on the spot in the 7.50am accident yesterday.

“The preliminary probe shows that the 23-year-old motorcyclist was travelling from Kuala Sawah towards Seremban when he suddenly lost control of his bike and entered the opposite lane,” ACP Nanda said.

“He then collided with the other motorcycle,” he said, adding that both victims suffered severe head injuries.

Their remains were taken to Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar for post-mortem.

The case is being investigated under Section 4191 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
