Dr Wee expresses appreciation to Ayer Hitam supporters

PETALING JAYA: Former transport minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong expressed his appreciation and gratitude towards the people of Ayer Hitam for their support, as well as promised to bring their voices back to the Dewan Rakyat which will soon convene.

In a statement on Facebook, he expressed his deepest appreciation and gratitude for their support in the 15th General Election (GE15), which took place last month.

“I will continue to defend the fate of the common people in general. I will also make sure to bring the voices of the people of Ayer Hitam back to the Dewan Rakyat soon,” he said.

Dr Wee also attended several wedding ceremonies at his constituency on Saturday (Dec 3) and thanked the newlyweds for their invitations.

“Happy newly married life to the newlywed couples. May they continue to be happy for the rest of their lives,” he said.

Dr Wee also indulged in some tea at Kampung Sawah Sagil, while being friendly with the community there.

“I am very happy to be with the community here and listen to their views and issues,” he said.

He added that as the representative of Ayer Hitam, he would continue to do his best and step forward to develop the constituency.
