Two motorcyclists killed in Rantau after colliding head-on


SEREMBAN: Two motorcyclists were killed when they collided into one another in Kg Belangkan near Rantau here on Friday (Dec 2).

District police chief Asst Comm Nanda Maarof said the male victims, aged 23 and 26 years old, were killed on the spot in the 7.50am accident.

"A preliminary probe shows that the 23-year-old motorcyclist was heading from Kuala Sawah towards Seremban when he suddenly lost control of his bike and entered into the opposite lane.

"He then collided into the other motorcycle," he said, adding that both victims suffered severe head injuries.

Their remains were then taken to the Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital for post-mortem.

The case is being investigated under Section 4191) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
