Covid-19 Watch: 2,375 new cases bring total to 4,994,543

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,375 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (Dec 1), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 2,371 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 4 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,994,543 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 11 deaths were recorded on Thursday with 2 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,695.
