A MAN in India confessed to killing his girlfriend and cutting her body into 35 pieces after police found his online search history included ways to deal with dead bodies, Malaysia Nanban reported.
The couple – Aptab and Shradha, both IT workers – relocated to New Delhi as their families objected to their relationship. Shradha’s father went to the police after failing to contact his daughter.
Aptab, who appeared calm, claimed that his girlfriend had moved out and he did not know where she was. His chat history, however, contradicted this story.
More alarmingly, the cops discovered that Aptab had visited sites that discussed dissolving human remains in chemicals, dissecting a body and disposal methods.
Aptab eventually admitted he had killed Shradha.
> The Selangor government has allocated RM8mil for non-Muslim places of worship under its 2023 budget, Malaysia Nanban reported.
