GE15: Mah accepts Tanjung Malim defeat gracefully


TANJUNG MALIM: Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon has accepted his defeat in the 15th General Election gracefully.

The MCA deputy president thanked his supporters for the trust they had given him in his bid for the Tanjung Malim seat.

"The people have made up their minds. I received the GE15 results gracefully," he posted on Facebook Sunday (Nov 20).

Dr Mah also said he highly appreciated all the help given to him on the campaign trail and the Tanjung Malim Barisan Nasional team for their trust.

"I did my best for Tanjung Malim," he said.

He also said he hoped Chang Lih Kang, who retained the seat for Pakatan Harapan, would continue to provide his full service to the people here.

Dr Mah, who secured 20,963 votes, lost in his second bid for the seat against Chang, who received 25,140 votes.
