PETALING JAYA: While vying to retain his Ayer Hitam parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15), Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong did not forget his sportsmanship when he bumped into his rival while campaigning.
The Barisan Nasional candidate exchanged cordial greetings with Pakatan Harapan candidate Sheikh Omar Ali when they saw each other at the Taman Kota Night Market on Tuesday (Nov 15) evening.
Dr Wee had gone there with his wife Datin Seri Jessica Lim to meet the vendors, visitors and buy some delicacies.
"My wife and I went to Taman Kota Night Market earlier to meet with traders and visitors and buy food sold here. Everything is delicious!
"I also ran into and had a chance to say hello to the Pakatan Harapan candidate, Mr. Sheikh Omar Ali who is also here," said Dr Wee in a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday (Nov 15).
Polling for GE15 will take place on Saturday (Nov 19).
