PETALING JAYA: A government led by Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) will make Malaysia an Asian Tiger, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The Pejuang chairman said that its candidates would focus on finding solutions to the people’s problems if elected into office.

Speaking after a walkabout at Pasar Pagi Dengkil on Sunday (Nov 13) to support Pejuang’s Sepang candidate Datin Paduka Che Asmah Ibrahim, Dr Mahathir said that he saw many small petty traders struggling to make a living.

The former premier added that the focus would be on enriching the poor.

“We will bring in more investors into the country that will create more job opportunities, especially for the youth," he added.
