GE15: Hamzah defends Larut seat in four-cornered tussle

PETALING JAYA: Incumbent Larut MP Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin is in a four-cornered fight to defend his seat in the 15th General Election, this time on a Perikatan Nasional ticket.

The Perikatan and Bersatu secretary-general will face Auzaie Fadzlan Shahidi of Pejuang, Shafiq Fadly Mahmud (Barisan Nasional) and Zolkharnain Abidin of Pakatan Harapan.

This will be Hamzah’s fourth election outing, with his first in the 2008 elections.

Prior to GE15, Hamzah, who is the Home Minister, had contested and won the Larut parliamentary seat under Barisan ticket.

He joined Bersatu after GE14.
