Gedong in Sarawak gets its own district council to boost development

KUCHING: A new district council will be set up in Gedong, about 88km from here, to facilitate development in the area.

Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said the formation of the Gedong district council was approved by the state cabinet three weeks ago.
