KOTA KINABALU: Sabah entrepreneurs have been encouraged to fully utilise small and medium industry product centres in the state as a springboard to promote and sell their products throughout the country.

Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam said entrepreneurs would be able to easily market their products with the opening of the centres, which come under the state Industrial Development Ministry.

“This includes everyone from coffee planters to coffee vendors,” he said at the launch of the Sabah International Coffee Festival at the Suria Sabah shopping mall here on Friday.

Gunsalam, who is also the state Industrial Development Minister, said the festival was fully supported by the state government through his ministry as well as Kota Kinabalu City Hall.

This year’s festival saw 47 entrepreneurs from Sabah taking part.
