WILBER Pan shocked fans recently when he wolfed down nearly 30 dishes during a TV show, reported China Press.

The 42-year-old Taiwanese-American singer, who recently lost 20kg, was seen gobbling down 28 plates of food, including spring onion crab and fried chicken, during an episode of the second season of Call Me by Fire.

Fans noted Pan’s eagerness to stuff down the food that had been cooked by other participants in the show.

“Got to try so many different dishes. I’m so happy. Normally, I don’t get to eat.

“But in this segment, you have to give face to your brothers who have prepared the food and eat as much as possible.

“However, I am regretting it somewhat. How could one person finish 28 dishes by himself?” he said.

Pan, a self-confessed foodie, reportedly reached a peak of 93kg this year but managed to cut down 20kg through exercise and dieting.

> Despite concerns that Hong Kong celebrity Sit Yeng Yi would be jobless after Asia TV wound up several of its operations, the actress announced that the company would be retaining her, reported Sin Chew Daily.

Fondly known as Ah Yi, Sit revealed that she had recently signed with Asia Momentum Media, a subsidiary of Asia TV which is helmed by veteran actor and businessman Frankie Lam.

The actress is also said to be expanding her presence in Malaysia following a well-received month-long tour in the country this year.

Her manager Connie Lam said Ah Yi has received a film script from Malaysia and they are currently in the negotiation stage.

The controversial Ah Yi is noted for landing herself a contract with ATV even though she failed to pass the qualifying round of the Miss Asia Pageant 2021.

She has also had run-ins with the law, one of which led to her being jailed for two weeks for attacking neighbours when they tried to film her not wearing a mask in public last year.

This year, Ah Yi was charged again with riding an unlicensed vehicle without a licence, a helmet and third-party insurance.

She is currently out on bail.

Fans were quick to point out how attentive Koo was as he carefully arranged cutlery for everyone at the table.

Koo now spends most of his time in Taiwan and flies back only occasionally to South Korea for work.

Hsu married Koo, an old flame, in March, just four months after her divorce from Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei.
