ACTOR Alif Hadi (pic) denied that he was responsible for disrupting his lover Yasmin Hani’s previous marriage until she got divorced, Harian Metro reported.
The 34-year-old celebrity said he was attracted by the character and attitude of the single mother of two.
“I have not received any comments accusing me of being the cause of her divorce.
“We only got close early this year. Her warm attitude and demeanour made it easy for me to approach her,” he said.
Insisting the nine-year age gap is not a barrier, Alif said the focus should be on the well-being of Yasmin’s children.
“Both of us do not want her children to feel pressured,” he said.
Alif said there were no plans for marriage in the near future so far.
“I don’t want to rush it. Instead I want to win over the hearts of Yasmin’s children first before moving on to the next phase of our relationship.
“Both of us have gone through the collapse of previous marriages and it has made us more mature in this relationship,” he said.
Yasmin was previously married in 2011 to Sha’arin Mohamed Razali, the drummer of the band Black Rose, but got divorced last year.
The couple have two children – Noah Ismail Wong, nine, and Eissa Elzander Wong, six.
> Actor Datuk Adi Putra dropped a “bombshell” when he revealed that he would not be attending the gala premiere of the movie Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan in Jakarta, Kosmo! reported.
Adi said he was disappointed that it was difficult to contact Kembara Studio Sdn Bhd. He even cynically said that he would have gifted a mobile phone to the production studio to facilitate better communication between parties.
“Thus, I am using social media so that my message reaches Kembara Studio. Insyallah (God Willing), I will not attend the gala premiere in Jakarta. Thank you,” he said in an Instagram post.
However, Adi said the post was only temporary. Meanwhile, in a comment, an individual believed to be from Kembara Studio said that they were aware of the criticism and would refer the matter to the management.
