Cops looking for students in bus stop fight video

KOTA KINABALU: Police are looking for students who were involved in a brawl that was caught on a viral video in Sabah’s northern Kota Belud district.

The 36-second clip has been making the rounds on social media since Thursday.

Kota Belud OCPD Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain said based on initial investigations, police established that the fight took place at a bus stop of a secondary school in Kampung Usukan at about 1.30pm the previous day.

“We are trying to locate all the students involved in order to ascertain the cause of the fight,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The case is being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code for fighting in a public place and disturbing public peace.
