Bus tickets out of Johor snapped up

JOHOR BARU: Bus tickets to the east coast states have been sold out with people heading home for the Hari Raya Haji celebrations.

Larkin Sentral Bus Terminal building manager Mohd Helmi Mohd Affendi said tickets had already been snapped up online weeks before the festive season.

“Bus tickets to east coast states such as Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang are sold out. Tickets to other destinations such as Kuala Lumpur and the northern states are still available,” he said yesterday.

Mohd Helmi added that Rela personnel would be stationed at the bus terminal.

“The Aidiladha bus trips to east coast states will start tonight until Saturday, a day before the festival,” he added.

He also said all counters and self-service kiosks would be opened in anticipation of a last-minute rush buy.

Mohd Helmi encouraged holidaymakers to purchase tickets online via www.golarkin.com.my.

He also advised passengers to arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes before departure.
