PETALING JAYA: Another video of a car driving along the motorcycle lane along the Federal Highway has gone viral.
This time, a car was captured in a 51-second video driving along the motorcycle lane near KM34.1 of the Federal Highway heading toward Shah Alam.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhruddin Abdul Hamid said Petaling Jaya Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department were alerted about the video at around 5am on Wednesday (June 29).
"A police report has been lodged so that investigations can be opened under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act for driving in a reckless and inconsiderate manner.
"The vehicle involved is a Honda City," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
He said the incident did not lead to any accident or injury to other road users.
"We urge the vehicle owner or driver to come forward immediately.
"Those with information are also welcomed to come forward," he said, advising road users to always abide by the traffic regulations to avoid accidents.
