SEREMBAN: Six individuals, including two from an enforcement agency, have been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission for alleged involvement in corrupt activities related to the issuing of the Goods Driving Licence (GDL).
The MACC obtained an order to remand five of the six suspects yesterday. Four were remanded for five days while the fifth for three.
According to a source, all the suspects aged between 35 and 65 were detained at 6pm at the MACC office on June 23.
It is also learnt that they had asked for bribes of between RM300 and RM650 to pass the GDL test.
