Areas of Seremban and Jelebu to face 24-hour water cut on June 28


SEREMBAN: Water supply to several areas in Seremban and Jelebu will be disrupted for 24 hours on Tuesday (June 28) for Syarikat Air Negri Sembilan (Sains) to carry out pipe replacement works.

Sains corporate communications head Norzita Ismail said supply to these areas would be cut temporarily from 8am on Tuesday until Wednesday (June 29) morning.

"The pipe replacement works are part of continuous efforts by Sains to improve the quality of supply.

"Also, supply should be restored in stages after 24 hours," she said in a statement on Thursday (June 23).

Rozita said the affected areas in Seremban include Taman Kotamas, Taman Chip Aik, Taman Markisa, Taman Jayamas, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Taman Bukit Mika, Taman Dawn Estet, Taman Templer Height, Taman Makmur, Taman Suria, Taman Bengawan, Taman Kwan Tong, Taman Permata, Taman Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Taman Yong Seng, Taman Saga and Taman Bukit Lemon.

Other areas are Jalan Tun Dr Ismail, Jalan Lobak, Jalan Tuanku Munawir, Jalan Veloo and Jalan Muthucumaru.

In Jelebu, the areas that would be affected are Taman Desa Permai Titi, Taman Singkong, Taman Nagamas, Taman Jelebu, Taman Titi, Taman Sri Kenaboi, Taman Pekan Baru, Kg Sepri, Ladang Jelebu, Taman Bukit Kempas, Taman Cempedak, Taman Teja, Taman Jati, Taman Angsana, Taman Irama and Taman Mahogani.

Norzita said Sains would deploy water tankers and place static tanks in the affected areas if the repair works took a longer time to complete.
