More than 10 million vehicles on highways


PETALING JAYA: The long weekend and start of the school holidays saw over 10 million vehicles on several major highways in the country in two days, say traffic police.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department principal assistant director (enforcement) Supt Dr Bakri Zainal Abidin said that at least 5.3 million vehicles were recorded on major highways on Friday while there were 5.6 million the next day.
