KUALA LUMPUR: The government and all parties, regardless of political beliefs, should strive to plan a long-term measure to bring the country back to the forefront of success.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said this was the message from Yang Di Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Negara on Monday morning (June 6).
In a post on his Facebook page, Dr Wee said he attended the conferment of federal awards, honours and medals for 2022 in conjunction with the King’s official birthday on Monday.
"Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob also presented a speech of loyalty to the King," he said.
He added that the Singapore High Commissioner to Malaysia represented all foreign diplomatic corps in the country to wish the King a Happy Birthday.
Dr Wee also congratulated all medal recipients.
"Continue to contribute to the nation and country," said the MCA president.
