Covid-19: Malaysia records 2,153 new cases bringing total to 4,458,889

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 2,153 new Covid-19 infections on Sunday (May 8), bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,458,889 since the pandemic began.

The Health Ministry's CovidNow portal reported that 2,151 of Sunday's Covid-19 cases were local transmissions, with only two imported infections.
